托钵僧，本指依靠饭钵乞讨生存的宗教苦行者，现在指不积蓄财产而生存的修行者。不同宗教请参见：

  • 佛教：原始佛教中的出家人有托缽乞食傳統，現在的南傳佛教僧人也行此制；在北傳佛教地區，則只有頭陀僧還在托缽乞食
  • 基督教：托钵修会
  • 伊斯兰教：德尔维希
