朴世龙（朝鲜语：박세룡，1976年4月—），男，朝鲜族，中国自然地理学家，北京大学副校长，北京大学城市与环境学院教授，教育部长江特聘教授，北京大学碳中和研究院院长，中国科学院青藏高原研究所副所长，中国科学院院士，世界科學院院士，第十四届全国政协常务委员^[1]。

朴世龙在全球碳循环、植被遥感、生态模型（英语：Ecosystem model）等研究领域成果颇丰，入选“2009年度中国基础研究十大新闻”和“2013年度中国高等学校十大科技进展”，是科睿唯安“全球高被引科学家”^[2][3]，入选美国斯坦福大学2020年全球前2%顶尖科学家^[4]。

1976年4月，朴世龙出生于吉林省延边朝鲜族自治州延吉縣（現龙井市）^[5]。1995年，朴世龙考入北京大学城市与环境学系，1999年获环境科学专业学士学位。本科毕业后，他在北京大学环境学院继续攻读博士，2004年获自然地理学专业博士学位， 2004年8月至2007年8月期间在法国原子能中心气候与环境研究实验室（法語：Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement）做博士后科研工作^[6][5]。

2007年1月，朴世龙开始担任北京大学城市与环境学院研究员，2010年8月开始担任北京大学城市与环境学院教授^[6][5]，2011年8月获“国家杰出青年科学基金”资助^[7]。2012年， 他成为教育部长江特聘教授^[5]。

2011年至2019年，他先后担任中国科学院青藏高原研究所高寒生态学与生物多样性实验室主任、重点实验室主任、学术主任、中国科学院青藏高原研究所高寒生态研究中心主任。2022年4月开始任中国科学院青藏高原研究所副所长^[6]。 2021年，他当选中国科学院院士^[8]，2022年11月，当选发展中国家科学院院士院士。2023年3月15日，北京大学成立碳中和研究院，朴世龙任院长^[9]。同年11月，他被任命为北京大学副校长^[10]。
